A 'Spring' in Our Step

Gabriella's shirt says "Dancing Makes Me Happy"...which is true. However, so does this warmer weather! Spring is here...and that means more walks and playing outside!

Here's Gabriella admiring some of her collected treasures from our walk around the neighborhood.

We all love a good walk on a beautiful day!

3 Guys, a Girl, and a Playdate

The other day, a couple of Gabriella & Kruz's best buddies came over to play: the Gorman guys, Davis & Noah. They had lots of fun and kept busy while the Mommies got to hang out too. :)

Adorable Noah always seems happy!

Coloring is always a favorite

March Madness

March has been a busy month for the Mendoza household. We're still getting used to having 2 kids under age 2 around...and living on less than 5 hrs sleep a night. Whew. Here are some random pictures of our 'madness'. ;) Enjoy!

Read wherever you can, baby.

Whopper

Happy One Month Old Birthday, Baby Kruz! Wow, time has flown by. The days and nights merge together when there's a newborn in the house. :) I am functioning on a few broken hours of sleep a night...and running nonstop w/ the two little ones during the day. I pray for a few minutes of them napping at the same time...so I can clean up if I have the energy....or just sit here and play on the computer. I often forget to eat and go to the bathroom until I'm dizzy from hunger and about to wet my pants. And I wouldn't trade it for the world. They bring such joy! Kruz has been doing great his first month of life...he's a pretty easy going little guy!

We had his one month check up today. He gained 2 lbs and now weighs 10.6 lb (75 %) and grew 3 inches and is now 22.5 inches (88%). The doctor and I were wondering where he was getting his size. She asked, "Your husband must be really large, right?" Um, no. ;) I guess he's just trying to catch up with his big sis.

Love this guy! Here's to a great 2nd month.

Tummy Time X 2

The following pictures speak for themselves...

The Park

Nice-weather days have been few and far between lately. Therefore, after being stuck inside (due to new baby & yucky weather), I was itching to take advantage of a beautiful day. After church, when Kruz was just 3 weeks old, we headed out for a 'family day.' We went to the park, and were planning on packing a from home-picnic lunch. Due to time...hungry and screaming babies...we opted for Wendy's on the way! Oh well, flexible we will be. We set up at a picnic table, where Gabriella loved watching a pick up game of soccer. She said "Gabriella kick!" and wanted to play. Another day. After lunch, it was to the playground! She loved climbing, sliding, and watching the other kids. Surprisingly, it wasn't that crowded. She embraced her indepedence and 'do it myself'-ness. ;) Kad and I took turns playing with her and sitting with 'baby Kruz,' who snoozed the day away. Ahhh...I loved the fresh air, sunshine, and time out with my wonderful little family. I am looking forward to many more days like this in the near future! :)

Hungry!

Proof that Kruz came along...

Watching soccer

Delicious!

Cheese!! Little ham.

Yes, the bruise on the head occured BEFORE playing on the playground.

Bruise or not, I think she's beautiful. ;)

Some pictures of another of my favorite people...

Trying to deter me from taking his picture...

It didn't work. Isn't he handsome?

Yet another of my favorite people! Haha, snoozing the park day away... Ah, the life.

Hanging with her 'big muscles!'

To the big slide, Daddy.

You said it was time to go? You'll have to catch me first!
