18 Month Christmas Photos

Right before Gabriella's "18 month old" mark, we took her to Target to have her pictures made. She was SO not into it...didn't want the photographer to come near her, didn't want to sit or stand where she was supposed to, and certainly didn't want to smile! Oh well, it's a good thing Mommy and Daddy think she's beautiful no matter what!!

Cousin Laney's 1st Birthday

Gabriella's little cousin, Helena or "Laney", turned one year old the other day! She had a super cute "fairy" birthday party, where we all had lots of fun. Here are a few pictures from the party.

Gabriella is really enjoying feeding herself lately. She's always been really independent, but now she just refuses help. She's getting better and better at feeding herself with a spoon. My big girl!

LU Homecoming 2009

Last weekend, Kad and I decided to take a daytrip to our past. We drove a couple of hours north to Cleveland TN, where he and I met, at Lee University. It was Homecoming weekend, so we thought we'd take a day to revisit. We didn't see many that we knew, but we loved walking around campus and town on this beautiful fall day! Gabriella had tons of fun running around and exploring. Kad and I met 8 1/2 years ago, and started dating a little over 7 years ago. What great memories were had at Lee! Who would've thought back then that we'd be where we are in life now. We have an amazing life together, and I wouldn't have changed a thing.
