Daddy's Day

This time last year, Gabriella was only 3 weeks old...celebrating her first holiday: Father's Day. What a special day for Daddy! He was and is so in love with her. He is the absolute best Daddy she could ever have. I know as she grows older, she will continue to be a Daddy's girl.

5 Year Anniversary!!

We celebrated our 5 year wedding anniversary this past June 19th. Wow, a lot has changed in 5 years. We graduated, bought a house, got married, moved in, both got new jobs, started work, went on several vacations, did work on the house/yard, lost 3 cars, gained 2 cars, adopted 2 dogs, adjusted jobs, and had our precious baby. All this and MORE in 5 short years. They have been the best 5 years in both of our lives. God has blessed us beyond belief with an amazing relationship, friendship, and marriage. We are blessed to grow closer every day. We look forward to celebrating our 75th together one day. =)

Splish Splash

Summertime= Swimming! Gabriella is loving the pool this summer. She loves kicking, splashing, and playing. Who knew a baby needed so much STUFF when going to the pool? (swimsuit, towel, swim diapers, regular diapers, change of clothes, toys, floaty, sunscreen, hat, flipflops, snacks, sippy of water, etc.) WOW! It's the preparation that's the difficult part, once we're there, it's all fun!

The other day, Mommy & Noni took Gabriella to the park to play with her cousins: Nikki, Brady, & Colby and Aunt Suzie. It was SO hot that we didn't stay long, but it was fun while it lasted!

In honor of Uncle Cam, Mommy bought Gabriella a bandana of her own. She sported it around the house one summer day, along with her polka dotted bloomers...just for fun. ;)

Around one year old, Gabriella moved to the 'big girl' bath tub for bathtime. She LOVES the running water (don't worry, we're careful about the temperature!).

Gabriella went for a swim with her friends the other morning. Davis, Avery, and Gabriella are all quite the little fish- they all seemed to enjoy swimming in the pool. It was fun!

The other day, I took Gabriella (12 mo.) for a play date with her cousins, Nikki (2.5 yrs) and Laney (7 mo.). The girls had so much fun together- it's cute to see them interact at all of their different 'stages.'

We had to wait in the car a few minutes before Gabriella's first swim. Meanwhile, she told us ALL about her plans for the pool. Sometimes, she gets something on her mind and tells us all about it! I love hearing her sweet voice and all of her 'words', hahaha. Our little Chatterbox. =)

1st Day at the Pool!

Gabriella didn't have many opportunities to swim last summer (considering she was just a tiny baby), so this summer she was ready to hop in the pool! For her first summer swim, we spent the day at Noni & Popi's neighborhood pool with the family. She loved it!
