Gabriella has loved playing with stuffed singing Santas, hearing songs about him, seeing his picture, and even saying both "Santa" and "Clause" (though not together). However, as you are about to see, visiting Santa himself is a different story! While in line waiting to see Santa at Barnes & Noble, Gabriella saw him and was so excited and eager! (Mommy thought this was a great sign). As we got w/in a few feet of him, she clung to Mommy, buried her head in her shoulder, and began shaking. What?! She would barely look at him, and would certainly not touch or talk to him. She was terrified. (I have to admit that his "ho, ho, ho" was a little creepy, lol). I tried for a few mins. to persuade her, but the closer she got to him, the more she trembled. Noni insisted that Mommy sit her on his lap for atleast one picture...poor baby...that was awful! Hopefully next time will be better...

Well, visiting Santa didn't go so well, but shimmery, glittery Christmas 'tatoos' sure were fun! G was so good and so still, that we had one put on each arm. She LOVED them, went around showing everyone, and saying "pretty, pretty".

One of the workers was sweet to play with G and show her the toys in the office. Gabriella liked her...that is until her "Santa-like" hat jingled...then she ran to Mommy!
